Ultrasound RN was founded to be a vascular access service in collaboration with experienced medical professionals who understand the clinical demands of the Vascular Access specialty and the importance of delivering high-value care efficiently and without delay. The organization is built upon a strong clinical and operational foundation to ensure clients receive a consistently reliable standard of service excellence. We provide professional, responsive, and high-quality Vascular Access services to healthcare partners seeking dependable bedside expertise.

By engaging highly skilled, patient-centered vascular access clinicians, clients can expect timely response, strong first-attempt success rates, and strict adherence to infection prevention standards supported by evidence-based practice. Vascular Access Services

Reliable USGPIVs, Midlines, PICC lines, Mid-Femoral lines

We provide comprehensive vascular access services for both outpatient and intra-hospital settings, delivering timely, safe, and efficient line placement to support uninterrupted patient care and optimal clinical outcomes. Our expertise includes ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs (USGPIVs) for patients with difficult venous access, improving first-attempt success and reducing multiple needle sticks; midline catheters for intermediate-duration therapies requiring reliable access for antibiotics, fluids, and other infusions; peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) for long-term treatment needs such as extended antimicrobial therapy, parenteral nutrition, and complex medication regimens; and mid-femoral lines as an alternative access option when upper extremity sites are limited or contraindicated. Using ultrasound guidance and evidence-based techniques aligned with current standards of practice, we prioritize vessel preservation, infection prevention, and patient comfort. Our services support hospitals, outpatient infusion centers, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, and physician practices, helping reduce treatment delays, improve efficiency, and enhance patient satisfaction through dependable bedside vascular access solutions.

Education

Comprehensive IV Insertion Course

Build a strong foundation in peripheral intravenous (IV) insertion through our comprehensive, hands-on training program designed for clinicians at all experience levels. This course covers essential topics including vascular anatomy and physiology, vein assessment and selection, catheter selection, insertion techniques, infection prevention, securement, and complication management. Participants will develop technical proficiency and clinical confidence through expert-led instruction, simulation, and supervised practice. Upon completion, clinicians will be equipped to perform safe, efficient, and evidence-based IV insertions that enhance patient safety and quality of care.

Ultrasound-Guided Peripheral IV Course (USGPIV)

Master the art and science of ultrasound-guided peripheral intravenous (USGPIV) insertion through our comprehensive, evidence-based training program. This course covers essential vascular anatomy, ultrasound fundamentals, vein selection, insertion techniques, troubleshooting, and complication prevention. Develop clinical precision and confidence through expert instruction, hands-on simulation, and supervised practice.

PICC/Midline Insertion Course
